Hoppy Easter
This purple bunny is a tradition from my childhood. The Easter Bunny makes them out of Hostess snowballs and jelly beans. My kids loved them too.
Teeball season is officially open!
You know, tee ball has to be the funniest sport out there. Where else do you see kids stopping to making friends with the other team at each base, or tackling thier own teammates for the ball. The parents are almost as funny to watch. The dads (like my brothers) who are hollering for thier sons to "tag em out" or "run home" and the kids have no clue what they are talking about. I was laughing out loud when one mom said, "Throw the ball to first, YOU KNOW THAT!" I hope they all remember that this is for fun!
General Conference time with kids... AAAHhhhh
I know they have all those conference packets and games you can make... but honestly, no matter what I prep for the kids, they always play with it for a minute and then are back to the races again. This conference was no different... during the talk about reverence, Brett and I were laughing about the irony, in between shouting for quiet so we could listen. But I let the kids paint a project and WOW! I actually got to hear some of the talks. So here is the "Happy" picture of us during conference.

Jail bird?
Going to Work with Dad!
BEN'S DAY WITH DAD... "Dad, I make maps wif you?" Ben was a little disappointed that making maps was on the computer and not outside.
Since it is spring break... most of the people in Brett's office were on vacation... so when Madi asked (as usual) if she could go to work with dad... he surprised us all by saying yes. So each child got a special day with dad. He would take them to work with him in the morning and return them at noon. They all LOVED it and really looked forward to "their time with dad." Ben didn't last as long since he is potty training and left a surprise in his britches for Brett. When he called in a bit of a... well, not a panic, but close... I just had to laugh. Welcome to my world!
