Visiting Family

We went to visit family last weekend. It is always fun to hang out and the kids have a ball with their cousins. This is Ben and cousin Spencer chillin' after church.
This is not a flattering picture, but it proves a point... My in-laws have a pantry that they keep fully stocked with treats (and CHOCOLATE). Our family joke is that if you ever lose one of use, we are hiding in the pantry. Brett, Josh (brother-in-law) and I always willingly help Mom to "rotate" her pantry.

Grandma Bingham is so awesome! She is our stylist... at least when we visit. Ben and Dad both got stylin' hair cuts... and Ben LOVES haircuts!

Potty Training

I am going to get so busted as soon as Brett sees that I put this picture on here... But Ben is so dang cute. I couldn't help it. We are tackling the potty training thing this week and wow, I forgot what a full time job THAT is. (I usually bribe my kids with "potty mallows." That just means they get a mini marshmallow every time they go potty). And so far Ben is such a good sport about it. He is totally pumped about his big boy pants as you can tell by his muscle man pose.

Sleepy Daddy

Connor is a very good baby... but even good babies have fussy times. And bless Brett's heart, he is so wonderful to rock and rock and rock and... well you get the picture.

Catching some ZZZzzzz

I heard a little voice last night meekly saying, "Mommy, Mommy." I went in to check on Ben and found him stuck in his bunk bed upside down. I think he was afraid of getting into trouble because he was getting out of bed. Silly kid!

Benjamin still takes naps (thankfully) but sometimes it takes some convincing. He does have a special blanket he likes to snuggle with, but sometimes I find this kid cuddling with the strangest things. The other day it was his tonka truck (not the most comfy). Then it was his herd of hard plastic dinosaurs. (I have found a few in my bed and know from personal experience that they are not bedtime friendly!) But this was a classic... if you can't tell, these are Ben's snow boots that I found him snoozing with. Hey, whatever it takes to bring the sandman!

We are having so much fun with another new baby!

Guess what? We had a baby!
